On Monday May 23rd activists of the Workers’ Action Committee in Alborz Province showed their solidarity and support for Jafar Azimzadeh and Afshin Sohrabzadeh by distributing two posters in various neighbourhoods.
At the time Jafar Azimzadeh, an imprisoned labour activist, was on the 25th day of his hunger strike and his health was continuing to deteriorate. Afshin Sohrabzadeh is a Kurdish prisoner who is being denied medical treatment for his cancer.
The leaflets were distributed on pavements, near banks, schools, a car wash, a bus stop for transporting workers and so on.
