Today, September 7th 2020, is the 85th day of the latest Haft Tappeh strike. The following is a short statement published on the Haft Tappeh Sugar Cane Company workers’ independent channel on Telegram.

In the presence of non-sugar cane workers, today, September 7th 2020, the eighty-fifth day of the Haft Tappeh workers’ strike was commemorated this morning in front of the Shush Governor’s Office. The sacked non-sugar cane workers demanded their return to work and changing the situation of their contracts.
The following are also the shared demands of all other sections of the Haft Tappeh workers:
Immediate divestment of Haft Tappeh’s fraudster employer and the private sector.
Immediate payment of unpaid wages and renewal of insurance booklets.
Immediate reinstatement of sacked workmates in all sections.
Immediate arrest of Asadbeigi and life sentences for Asadbeigi and Rostami.*
Immediate return of all embezzled wealth to the workers.
End retired managers’ employment.
Form an independent workers’ representatives’ assembly.
