The frozen bodies of Farhad Khosravi and his brother Azad Khosravi were found on December 20th after a search by volunteers in Iran’s Kurdistan Province.
The Khosravi brothers, fourteen-years-old Farhad and seventeen-years-old Azad, were porters in Marivan County of Kurdistan Province. Like many poor working-class children, they were forced into the arduous work of carrying heavy loads in the mountainous regions between Iran and Iraq.
The short and tragic lives of Farhad Khosravi and Azad Khosravi is a testament to the highly brutal form of capitalism under the Islamic Republic of Iran.
