The forty-eighth day of the Haft Tappeh strike today, Saturday, August 1, 2020
The forty-eighth day of the Haft Tappeh workers’ strike was convened this morning in front of the Governor’s Office, in the presence of a number of workers. At this gathering the workers declared that they would continue the strike and protests until divestment of the private sector.
The following are the most important demands of the striking workers:
Immediate payment of unpaid wages and renewal of insurance booklets.
Immediate reinstatement of all sacked workmates.
Immediate arrest of Asadbeigi and life sentences for Asadbeigi and Rostami.*
Divest Haft Tappeh’s fraudster employer and the private sector immediately.
Return all embezzled wealth to the workers immediately.
End retired managers’ employment.
