There are at least six teachers still in the Iranian regime’s jails.
According to the Co-ordination Council of Teachers’ Trade Organisations of Iran the following are still in jail:
Mahmoud Beheshti Langeroudi, Esmail Abdi, Mohammad Habibi, Abdolreza Ghanbari, Mohammad-Ali Zahmatkesh and Ruhollah Mardani.
The Shahrokh Zamani Action Campaign strongly condemns the continued incarceration of all teachers. We call on all trade unionists, socialists and other political activists to help us in defending the rights of all workers, social rights’ activists and political prisoners in Iran.
Free all jailed teachers now!
