The following is a short statement published on the Haft Tappeh Workers’ Independent Channel (on Telegram).
The fourth day of the strike [September 26th].
Until the sacked workers return to work and the company’s status is settled and privatisation cancelled, the strike continues. Threats of dismissals, warnings, arrests and clampdowns have no effect. By summoning a few people [to court] you cannot silence a few thousand workers. Thieves and robbers, hands off Haft Tappeh.
